Crafts

We love our crafts! They provide opportunities for girls and adults alike to learn or improve a variety of skills while expressing our creativity and sharing a social/bonding experience.

Tips for using crafts successfully in your Unit:

  1. Limit the frequency of craft activities.
  2. Craft with purpose.
  3. Make a sample ahead of time.
  4. Use the same materials and tools you will be offering the girls to make your sample.
  5. Don't make your sample too "perfect".
  6. Do some steps ahead of time, but not too much!
  7. Plan for early finishers.
