Sue's Virtual Campfire Song Book

Many songs we sing in Guiding have been passed on from person to person and from generation to generation. Authors of song books and websites have recorded the version they know. As a result you will discover that even in our own publications the words or tunes to songs may vary. This is particularly so if you use books from other countries or move around as many of us have. With the songs in this book if the printed words don’t match with what you hear, use the written words. I have tried to select the words and tunes for this Virtual Song Book that are as near to the ones that I know as possible and are in use in Calgary. Be warned! When you go to a large gathering you may find others are singing a slightly different but I’m sure you will still enjoy the experience!
